Mayor: Terry Mills - I would like to introduce myself as your Mayor. I grew up in Poynor, Texas just a few miles south of Brownsboro. Although I did not reside in Brownsboro until later in my life, as a young adult I worked with a local area man cutting and bailing hay for customers in and around Brownsboro. I was pretty familiar with the people before I made this my home, which is one the reasons that I did.
As a full time career, I am the general manager of a local car dealership, as well as its finance company. I also have been a Texas peace officer since 1998 and currently volunteer my time as a reserve deputy for the Henderson County Sheriff's Department.
I am happily married to my wife Krissi for the last 16 years and counting and have two children, my daughter Morgan and my son Maddox. We moved into Brownsboro in 2004 and have enjoyed every year here.
The community here is extremely tight knit with a lot of family here living amongst themselves. That alone gives everyone the opportunity to know their neighbors very well, which also give a sense of security for our families, especially our children, which is a great part of the city of Brownsboro.
The stronghold of the community is our faith and our people. I am proud to say that I live in Brownsboro and even prouder to say that I am your Mayor. It is a pleasure to work with your city councilmen to attempt to move the city in a proactive direction and to work with our citizens to accomplish all that a town of our size can accomplish. But let it be known, that none of this would be possible without the great citizens here. So, to all current citizens and anyone contemplating moving into our community please feel free to join us at any time.
Feel welcome to attend our monthly meetings, which is held on the second Thursday of each month at city hall at 5:00 p.m., or contact me at anytime via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
