The City of Brownsboro Police Department has an opening for a full/part time police officer.  One who is highly motivated, community oriented and willing to face challenges as they may come.

To qualify for the position, you must have a Texas Peace Officer's License; a valid Texas Drivers License; a high school diploma or GED.

The job may require the applicant to work weekends and/or nights and be willing to cover shifts when a fellow officer needs time off.

Some of the job duties will include traffic control, accident investigation, criminal investigation and ordinance enforcement.

You must be able to pass a background check as well as a drug screen.

The City offers a salary competitive to other small towns, TML benefits paid by the City, over time and retirement.

The Police department is comprised of a Chief, Lieutenant and 2 patrol officers.
